Credit Card Transactions for WiFi Service

Merchant account services are provided for most of our clients today. All guest Internet purchases made online are deposited into a merchant’s account and tagged with a unique Hotspot ID number. In this model, we deal with all merchant account fees, credit requests, disputes, charge backs and other miscellaneous web processing fees. A monthly statement will be prepared (all can be viewed in real-time via the Business Access Portal) and checks will be cut to each client less the 17.5% processing fee on the 15th of each month for the prior month’s activity. Verisign online processing service (now owned by PayPal) and Bank of America is the clearing facility currently used.

Our customers have the option to create their own merchant account and receive their revenue in real-time, however they will be responsible for all fees, charge backs and dispute resolution. Additionally, a one-time fee will be charged to set up your processor in our system.
