Enterprise Network Deployment

Namtek’s solution has over 1000+ deployments and over 100,000 rooms supported and growing. More than half of the client locations have property-wide business class WiFi networks engineered, installed and supported. Our installations have been rolled out as private label solutions, marketing our customer’s brand and delivering a class of service commensurate with their brand expectations.
Within each engagement, Namtek strives to break the process down into the following steps:
- Needs analysis
- Site survey
- Proposal / solution development
- Project management / installation
- Customer sign off / support acceptance
Needs Analysis
Each successful installation begins with a needs analysis discussion to determine project requirements and measurements for success. We interview the technical and business personnel to insure the technology and business needs are addressed, and goals are attained in a collaborative manner.
Site Survey
This is followed by a comprehensive professional site survey. The site survey provides an outline and a plan for implementation, pricing and deployment. Topics addressed are:
- Physical inspection of the property and all potential coverage areas.
- Measure RF propagation of access points to determine ideal quantity and locations of access points and cable runs.
- Identify Wi-Fi interference sources and develop a mitigation plan.
- Provide a network design drawing.
- Provide pictures of mounting locations with requirements.
- Specify all wireless hardware, configurations and channel plans.
- Specify bill of materials of equipment, locations, and mounting hardware that meet the client’s goals.
Once the survey is complete and a proposal is developed, it is put in the hands of the client to review and accept. When the customer approves the project, our Project Management Team facilitates the installation via “best practices” methodologies to insure a timely project schedule as well as a clear communication path for customer expectations.
These include:
- Professionally configuring / installing the gateway/ wireless access devices / switches.
- The network cabling runs to be installed for all devices.
- Implementation of data circuit via multiple carriers, i.e.: XO, MCI, AT&T, etc.
- Integration into existing technology systems (if necessary).
- Training
The last step in the process includes customer sign-off in which they acknowledge that the project is completed to their satisfaction. At this point, our support team will review all post-installation documentation provided by the project manager and accept the property into our support center.
