Remote Monitoring

All of our customer sites are monitored in real time via SMNP. We are instantly alerted if any of our sites have connectivity issues. The 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) is provided with a “heads up” display that alerts us if any conditions warrant our attention. We can remotely manage and access all devices including managed switches, gateways, and access points, etc. These vary by the sensitivities and security levels of our varying client base.

Traffic Logs Capture

AAA service (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) is an integral part of a guest network solution. Once a guest has been authenticated onto the network, and authorized to access the internet, accounting services keep track of the actual time logged on and the total number of packets uploaded and downloaded by each user. At a minimum this data is accounted by individual user MAC addresses (Media Access Control). If additional user information is collected during the authentication process, this information is also tied to the user session accounting.

The information collected provides excellent feedback on the performance of the network and adds valuable data for support and troubleshooting services. The data is also valuable for investigating illegal activity taking place on the guest internet network.
